I was born and raised in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia to a painter and a scientist. I indentify with both these worlds and they continue to influence my work. I attended the Philadelphia Creative and Performing Arts High School where I double majored in art and creative writing. I went on to get an Associates In Applied Science in Fashion Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology living and studying in New York City and Florence, Italy. I started working in the fashion industry at the age of 19 but after some time decided I wanted to explore other pursuits- and explore I have! I have had jobs in the arts, arts education, fashion design, and film, that have taken be back and forth from the east to the west coast and back again. I have had other wonderful experiences on farms and ranches, working with animals, which is my other passion. I continued my education and received a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. I had settled in Seattle for almost 7 years, but wanted to be closer to my family and again returned to Philadelphia. I recently completed my Master of Science in Surface Imaging from Philadelphia University.
In my spare time I hang out with my wonderful dog Goose and my friends and family, and whenever I have the opportunity I love to create outrageous original characters of my own making, as well as go travel and explore.
